The teenage years are an exciting and adventurous time of self discovery, full of exploration and growth. They are but a small fraction of a person’s life, yet hold countless wonderful and irreplaceable memories. They are extremely important years that thrive on responsibility and commitment. In the short time of being a teenager, we may experience the stress of our first job, and the excitement of our first car. We may feel the demands of academic success and maintenance of good grades. We may experience the anticipation of our first date, or the thrill of our first kiss. During these years, we begin to define our personalities, and express ourselves through means of different clubs, teams, and social events. It’s a time filled with friends, sports, parties, and proms. We begin to apply for colleges, focusing on an education that will hopefully sustain us throughout our adult years. It can be a challenging time to say the least, balancing our taxing school work with the high pressure of our social lives. We are tested and challenged, inspired and motivated, all in the hope of building a future of accomplishment, hope, and happiness. |
